Well i went in thinking this could be rather weak and nominated for no good reason at all but boy i was surprised. This hit me where i wasn’t expecting as its about fitting in and i don’t fit in with anyone either. Marisha Ali is amazing and so is Viggo Mortenson. A triumph all around. A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
