This felt so so slight and not a patch on the original. But its still a good film and Julia Louis Dreyfus is superb. A couple on a ski trip survive an avalanche but the marriage takes a turn for the worst when the father flees the family as snow comes down. Will Ferrell is alos good 3.5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
