I love the director of this but what a weird mess of a movie this ended up being? Matthew was good and the cast were ok but it was a bit like a messy trip. the direction and the colours were superb. Not bad 3.5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
