A tough watch about a mans life spiralling out of control due the effects of his abuse as a kid. The scenes when he is younger are harrowing. Mark stanley and Emily Beeching were excellant. Anna Friel badly cast. Over all a good watch 4/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
