What an an excellent film. Set in the same area of Paris where Victor Hugo lived and wrote Les Miserables. Tensions are brewing in a district as corrupt cops make a serious error of judgement and repercussions happen rapidly. Its a gripping film and well worth a watch 5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
