There he meets a group of pointless kids, finds out about a serial killer and all his henchmen and then the mascot/creatures come to life and a killing spree begins. A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
