It was clearly a debut novel and wasnt tthe best but i grew to like the story more and more and wished it had come sooner. The parts set in Africa were alot richer and i wish they had been developed more. I liked it but nothing special 3.5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
