This was a weird choice for Oscar winner Swank. There was no lightness in this and a very odd open ending. A mum deals with her daughter in laws pregnancy after the son dies from drugs. As they start to sniff and deleve a dark secret rises. Its so dreary but ok 3/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
