Well this was pure Loach and im so so glad it is. Its astounding from start to end. Set in 2016 and during the Syrian war. A bunch of Syrians arrive in a Northern town and the locals are not happy. A bedraggled pub landlord forms a lovely relationship with a Syrian girl who loves to take pics. Superb. Take a tissue 4.5/5 |
