This didnt really work at all which was a shame. The story was original as a society of negroes help white people feel good about themselves so things dont turn out bad. There was clever bits but also the magic didnt work and the concept failed. Shame as Justice Smith is good 3/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
