Ermm this was rather rank. It was tediously slow and all 4 characters were vile and unlikable. The story of one of the sons who killed a homeless person was also nasty. All of this was vile. Coogan was miscast as he is the one that actually has to act quite a bit – dire 2/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
