The wonderful Patrick Ness novel now a stage play. Its so beautifully made but lacked any emotional ooomph. The tree was wonderfully brought to life by the ropes and the monster and boy were both superb. I just wished the stories had been filmed differently 3.5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
