I wondered why Jessica Biel seemed to be appearing in a B- Movie type horror but this is so much more than that and was marketed incorrectly. Its much more a pyschological thriller with a twist that comes far too quick. Its a good thrill ride 3.5/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
