I saw this years ago at the cinema and wasnt keen at all + catching up on dvd hasnt improved it. Its well acted even if Mcgregors accent is a little odd but its not charming or whimsical enough for me The story of a son who doesnt belive his dads tall tales 3/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
