A massive Tarantino fan and the “ho ha” about distribution put me off this a bit. I still decided to see it and I really liked it. The first part was a good set up with some stunning cinematography. Russell in his best role for years. The second part was so stagey and I felt there was a missing Quentin sparkle somewhere. Cant place what but there wasn’t enough zing for me. Jennifer Jason Leigh is getting a lot of award nods, unsure why, the film belongs top Russell. And am I the only one to tire of Jackson always playing the same old character?? 3.5/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5

Wow Chalamet is good in this biopic of Bob Dylan. The film is very episodic and nothing amazing but see it for the music and Tim. Its a by the numbers biopic but well worth a watch 3.5/5
