So so play. Saw it as a dress rehersal so its hard to judge but im not sure it was that good. A boy with a dead dad. A mum who runs a puppet work shop, a school bully and a young shy girl. Add a puppet who has its own voice and a dollop of relgion 3.5/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
