One of the best books ive read and it sadly doesn’t make a good film. It was an uneven mix, trying to be arty but given a Hollywood cast. Sarah Michelle Gellar isn’t convincing enough and the love story angle is a bit wet. The end of the book hit like a punch here its done as a narration. Weak 3/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5

Wow Chalamet is good in this biopic of Bob Dylan. The film is very episodic and nothing amazing but see it for the music and Tim. Its a by the numbers biopic but well worth a watch 3.5/5
