A very odd tale about love and sexual desires of a man. In the cinema this was in 3d. I stuck with it from the tart to the end but not a lot happens besides a great deal of sex. File under interesting but utterly tedious and pointless 3.5/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
