A superbly acted 4 hander with 4 great performances but over all its a little OTT and far fetched. It looks amazing and the story is slow and unsettling then it becomes bleak and rather grim. I liked the colours and the costume of Morrissey’s character and the wife and their home was wonderful. Posey was unnerving as the wife above and her performance is spot on. There is more an a hint of Polanski in this. 4/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
