An interesting but kooky and odd premise. An American woman is hired as a nanny to a creepy family in the UK where it appears the son is nothing more than a doll. It goes into unexpected places and the twist is excellent but its a slow slog getting there and there is little tension or scares. Seen ALOT worse but compared to last weeks witch this is tame 3/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
