An utter delight and a feast to the eyes from the always wonderful Burton. Eva Green is perfect as Miss Perigne who run her school for peculiar children on a loop in 1943. An all star cast from dench to o’dowd add the sheer excitement of the entire film. Excellent 4/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
