In some respects this was a lot better than the 1st film. A steller cast and some stunning visuals. Depp had a bigger part and Mia is a spunkier Alice as she searches for time to help him to find his family. We see the queens as smaller kids and Helena steals the show 3.5/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
