A interesting film based on the bestselling book. It felt rather cold throughout but the change of setting to the USA didn’t really hamper the proceedings. To begin with I was hesitant on Blunt but she was good as was the rest of the cast, see this for Blunts portrayal

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
