I went in with a very low expectation and was pleasantly surprised. Its stunning to look at and Fassbender, Cotilard and the director worked wonders as PC games to movie adaption are usually bad and this reversed the trend. The scenery is stunning even if the story is a bit complicated and the end poor the actors and scenery made up for it 4/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
