A film no one really knows and a cast of unknowns is a hard sell and the theatre wasn’t busy at all but this was pretty quirky. The main lead irritated the hell out of me but she grew on me. Its the story of a girl sold to a circus strong man who is violent and was connected to her sister. She soon finds love with a circus clown and destruction descends. Well acted and staged amazingly but a oddity

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
