What a horrible film. I had to google what this was about and its utter horribleness and I hated it from start to end. Infact the beginning was interesting but Pfeffier and Harries arrival was jarring then it just got worse. Overall she is mother earth and its about the destruction of mankind. A butchered baby made me laugh, the Adam and Eve connection with Cain and Abel was awful. Bardem as God???? That crystal……. I was so angry by the end I was so tense for NOTHING WHY WHY WHY J LAW???????????????? HORRID 0/5 |

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
