What a bizarre but utterly watchable film about 2 men who seemly break up as 1 decides to travel for 4 days in France. He meets some very very random people on the way which makes zero sense in fact. A girl who robs him and he lets him get away with it etc A woman at a cottaging area etc. Overall its ok 3/5

A well made creepy tale with some stunning scenes and acting. This a classic story remade and it was well worth doing. Some scenes are just breathtaking and Lily Rose Depp was amazing. Eggers is brilliant 4/5
